Richard Ray (“Rich the Lender”) is an entrepreneur, investor, business leader, educator, mentor, father of six, and nationally recognized Certified Home Loan Expert with more than 20 years of mortgage and financial services experience.

As the Founder and Managing Partner of DMV Home Loan Experts, a division of Caliver Beach Mortgage, Richard has dedicated his career to helping families, entrepreneurs, veterans, investors, and first-time homebuyers build wealth through homeownership and real estate.

His philosophy is simple: Economic Empowerment Through Homeownership.

Richard believes a mortgage is much more than financing. It is a tool that helps families build stability, create opportunity, and establish generational wealth.

Beyond his professional career, Richard is deeply committed to leadership, mentorship, and community service. He is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, initiated through the Iota Lambda Chapter (Spring 1997).

Richard coaches youth basketball and football, mentors young athletes, and helps develop future leaders. A lifelong martial artist with 20+ years in Taekwondo, MMA, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, he believes life’s greatest lessons come from preparation, resilience, humility, discipline, and perseverance.
